Hyundai East Rand has teamed up with Boksburg High School as the official sponsor of the school’s girls’ soccer team, giving the players a powerful boost as they head into the Easterns and Janine Van Wyk Interschool League season.
The sponsorship, which kicked off in July, includes brand-new kits and full coverage of travel expenses for away games.
Thandeka Nkosi of Hyundai East Rand explained the motivation behind the partnership:
“Supporting local initiatives that empower young women and strengthen community spirit is important to us. Seeing the passion these girls harbour for soccer made it an easy decision.”

The school’s principal, Enoch Thango, welcomed the partnership with gratitude:
“We are thankful to Hyundai East Rand for believing in our girls and investing in their potential. This sponsorship is more than financial support; it’s a vote of confidence in youth development and the power of sport to shape futures.”

“It’s a huge achievement, and the girls are ready to give it everything. They’ve worked tirelessly all season, and now they have the opportunity to showcase their talent at the highest level.”
Masina added that the team looks forward to a successful season both on and off the field:
“Thank you, Hyundai East Rand, for helping our team dream bigger and play bolder.”
