Anché Moore from Witfield spearheads the project. She said they aimed to feed thousands of people every month.

“It is about more than just food. We are trying to bring hope and dignity to people who are struggling, especially in winter,” she said.

Moore thanked everyone who supported the cause, especially SGB Cape for making the day possible.

Ben Gerrad, managing director at SGB Cape, said the initiative is close to the company’s heart. “We are helping people get through the winter, one meal at a time. It is something we are proud to support.”

Feeding Boksburg will be in Witfield on July 12. Anybody who would like to become involved may www.feedingboksburg.org or send an email to anchemoore@feedingboksburg.org
