The schools that received the shoes are Geluksdal Secondary School, Geluksdal Primary School and Geluksdal Primary School (2).

The shoe project was made possible by a generous donation/sponsorship from TOMS, a company in the USA that manufactures shoes.

The team, Nelson Shikwambana, Rupert Hermanus, Vincent Thungo, Busisiwe Dlamini, Thulani Msibi, Beverly Fraser, Antoinette Petersen and Rudy Masha, handed out the shoes to learners in the three schools.

This was done in partnership with the Department of Education, Ekudibeng Region, Chief Director: District Operations Management.
