Police seize crystal meth worth over a million
Crystal meth worth over R1-million was seized by members of the Ekurhuleni Central Tactical Team in Dalview on Sunday (29 April.)
According to Capt Pearl van Staad, the spokesperson for the Brakpan SAPS, the team followed up on information they had received about a Nigerian national manufacturing the drug at an address along Currey Street.
“They went to his house where they recovered crystal meth and found the lab where he was manufacturing it,” she said.

“Five kilograms of crystal meth to the value of R1 250 000 was confiscated.
“Members also found a firearm, which was also seized.”
The 40-year-old suspect, who has an outstanding assault case against him, was arrested.
He was due to appear in the ethis week.
