Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:

• Friday – Three burglaries took place.

The break-ins occurred at addresses along Coetzer Street in Withok Estates, Oberholzer Street in Minnebron and Taft Avenue.

Tools, TVs and cellphones were stolen.

* A radio was stolen from a car parked along Wenden Avenue.

• Saturday – No priority cases were reported at the time of publication.

• Sunday – No priority cases were reported at the time of publishing.

Other cases:

• Thursday – A car parked at an address along Prince George Avenue in Brenthurst was broken into.

A wallet and sound equipment was stolen. The vehicle’s tyres and mags were also taken.

• Possession of drugs: 2
• Drunk driving: 5
• Dealing in drugs: 1
• Housebreaking and theft: 1
• Pointing of firearm: 1
