Brakpan police probe fatal stabbing in Plastic City
The victim is reportedly related to another recent murder victim.
Brakpan police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a young man was found in the Plastic City informal settlement on the morning of August 23.
According to SAPS information, a resident made the discovery outside his shack at around 07:20. Brakpan police were alerted and proceeded to the scene, where they were met by the resident and taken to the body.
The deceased, who has been identified as a 20-year-old who lived in the settlement, sustained stab wounds to his upper body.
He was declared dead on the scene by emergency services.
The victim was reportedly related to another man who was also recently murdered in the settlement.
