NSC Exams kick off, mayor wishes matrics well
'Good luck class of 2025' says Ekurhuleni executive mayor.
Grade 12 learners have reached a significant milestone in their schooling journey as they prepare to sit for the National Senior Certificate examinations, the final assessment of their school career.
This is why I join the chorus in wishing these young people all the best as they tackle one of the most important exams of their lives.
Starting from October 21, just over 700 000 learners across the country will begin their matric examinations, marking the culmination of years of dedication and perseverance.
In the City of Ekurhuleni, more than 39 000 learners are writing their matric final examinations this year. We are thrilled to witness this monumental step in their lives as they transition into young adulthood and prepare to begin a new chapter.
It is always heartwarming and inspiring to share in the excitement, anticipation, and determination of our learners as they prepare to take their place in society.

Your success is not only a personal achievement but also a triumph for your families, communities, and our city as a whole.
