Eye on the metro: Library services are useless

"Anonymous" from Brakpan writes: I have numerous problems with the Brakpan Library.

I speak for many people when I say that the library never has proper information for school projects.

My sister goes to an Afrikaans school and she hardly ever comes right with Afrikaans information.

The people who work there are very uninformed and we struggle to work as a team with them.

Not everyone has access to the internet at home, so we rely on the local library, which isn’t of help when needed

Another problem is when we want to print pages — there always seems to be a problem with the machine,

How are we, as learners, supposed to be the future, able to work hard on our studies, when we don’t get the necessary help from so-called librarians?

Hopefully this will be published and something could be done about it because, as they say, we are “supposed” to be the future.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
