Name change for Brakpan

Come on people, are we trying to attract investors to our town or chase them away with this smell?

With Brakpan recently developing at a phenomenal speed, I thought perhaps a name change for the town would not be such a bad idea.

Upon entering the town from Benoni along the R23, at the intersection of Makro’s turn-off, there is a horrendous smell of raw sewage every time I pass this particular point.

I have heard numerous people complain about it, without anything being done about it.

Perhaps the town’s name could be changed to K#kpan, so a stranger would know where he is right away.

On the opposite side of this road, past Van Eck Park near the substation, is exactly the same smell.

Come on people, are we trying to attract investors to our town or chase them away with this smell?
