Petrol-heads’ dream at Gauteng Motor Show

The thrilling Gauteng Motor Show came to town over the wekend.

You will be kicking yourself if you are a self-professed car lover and happened to miss out on the inaugural Gauteng Motor Show, at the Rock Raceway, from July 25 to 27.

The circuit hosted the one-stop extreme “Moto-tainment”, show which merged the thrill of live-action performances with audience entertainment aplenty.

Organised by Thebe Reed Exhibitions, visitors to the Gauteng Motor Show were treated to an action-packed event that featured everything, from the ever-growing Supadrift Series, drag racing, V8 Sprints, the popular Red Bull X-Fighters, Hot Laps and a number of other exhilarating driving experiences.

A plethora of high-performance automotive products and services were also on display, with over 150 exhibitors.

Classic cars and some rather odd and unique vehicles were also on display over the weekend.
