Massive lift in crane market

Next week, WH Auctioneers is set to sell perhaps the biggest fleet of cranes to hit South Africa by public auction.


Cleared for auction are no fewer than 13 cranes ranging from 260 ton Crawlers to an eight ton Grove Yard Crane.

“Other exciting items we have on auction are some late model All Terrain Cranes, including a Liebherr MK110, a Terex AC140 Compact and a Terex AC200,” said Henderson, director at WH.

“For buyers looking at Rough Terrains, there will be a selection on 100 ton, 50 ton, 36 ton and 28 ton 4X4 Cranes.”

Over eight late model Boom Lifts will also be on auction including low hour JLG 1350’s, 800’s, 600’s and 450’s, as well as a fantastic selection of Mechanical Horses including Hinos, Actros’s and Freightliners as well as Flat Deck Trailers.

Furthermore, WH will be auctioning their largest selection of TLB’s on a single auction to date, including JCBs, New Hollands, Komatsus, Terexes, Volvos and CATs.
