Motorists travelling on the N12 between Fochville and Potchefstroom this morning (Saturday December 13) must be particularly careful.
A section of this road is closed in the area of Buffeldoorns and the Enselspruit turn-off after a serious accident.
At least three vehicles were involved in the accident.
As far as could be determined, emergency services are still busy at the scene with patients.
