Khutsong to host first-ever Kasi Jam Show

Live event inspired by the popular Merafong 360 Radio Kasi Jam Sessions will showcase local musicians and entrepreneurs on September 26.

The first-ever Kasi Jam Show is set to take place on 26 September at Batswaneng Park in Khutsong Township.

The event will celebrate local talent while helping to restore the dignity of local artists, many of whom feel they have not had enough opportunities to showcase their abilities due to a lack of platforms.

The Kasi Jam Show was inspired by the Kasi Jam Sessions, a series that airs on Merafong 360 Radio every Thursday evening during The Kreative Korner, hosted by KGEE.

The radio sessions have received an overwhelmingly positive response from listeners across Merafong, demonstrating a strong appreciation for local talent. Due to popular demand, the Kasi Jam Sessions team decided to expand the concept from a radio programme into a live event, where some of the best performers will take to the stage.

The show will feature a variety of music genres to cater for different tastes. It will also provide an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services.
