Huge drug lab in West Rand

Police are currently at the scene.

Members of the police’s Crime Intelligence Unit’s National Head Office and the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigations, also known as the Hawks, have uncovered another multi-million rand drug manufacturing laboratory at a farm in the Krugersdorp area.

According to the SAPS they have discovered quantities of Mandrax and ecstasy tablets at the suspected drug manufacturing laboratory this morning, October 8.

Five South African nationals who were found at the premises have been arrested.

Senior SAPS officers are en route to the scene, where further assessments and investigations are underway.
