Johannesburg Flying Squad arrests suspect after crystal meth bust in West Turffontein

Police recovered drugs worth R3 000 during a patrol operation, leading to the suspect’s arrest and detention at Booysens SAPS.

Johannesburg Flying Squad members were patrolling on September 8 at around 14:00 when they received a complaint of dealing in drugs.

Media liaison officer Raymond Sambo said members proceeded to a house on the corner of Side Road, West Turffontein.

On arrival, the house was searched, and the members recovered crystal meth with a street value of R3 000.

The suspect was subsequently arrested for possession of drugs and detained at Booysens SAPS.
