DJ Sbu’s naughty tennis secret revealed

The businessman, record label owner, presenter and DJ told The New Age about the frivolous reasons behind his decision to take up the sport, at which he later excelled.

“I went on to become a very good tennis player and I used to play Junior Pros,” he said.

“But I got into tennis because I liked girls and so we would go to the tennis courts because the girls were beautiful and they wore short skirts.

“I ended up frequenting the tennis courts just to see the girls but then I ended up wanting to try it out and fell in love with it,” he added.

DJ Sbu, whose real name is Sbusiso Leope, went on to tell The New Age about education and the opportunities it afforded.

“I attribute a lot of my success to having had some formal education,” he said.

“It made me think differently and look at things completely differently. I do know what education can do and I’ve seen it do wonders before my eyes,” he said.
