Hofmeyr holiday home burgled
Controversial Afrikaans singer Steve Hofmeyr and his family have become the latest victims of crime after a robbery at their holiday home.
The singer posted a tweet on his Twitter account during the early hours of Wednesday morning, breaking the news to his 129 700 followers.

According to the tweets that followed, both he and his family were unharmed but are a little shaken up.
“The stench is still in the air,” one of his tweets read, with another stating that a new TV set, xbox and remotes were stolen.
Hofmeyr thanked his fans for their support and said he said he would be back on January 22.
It’s not yet been established where the family had been when the incident occurred or where the holiday house is.
