The Idols SA presenter and the former Miss South Africa were both invited to work at a Proudly SA event in February 2016.
They handed out roses at an intersection is Rosebank ahead of Valentine’s Day.
Proverb took a trip down memory lane on Monday and shared a picture of himself and Liesl at the event.
“On this day Two years ago, was invited by #ProudlySA to spread a lil love to motorists and hand out some Flowers at an intersection in Rosebank. I’ve never looked at that intersection the same ever since,” he captioned the picture.
The spark between them was obvious, but they played coy at first, with Liesl even claiming she had friend zoned him.
They finally confirmed their romance in January 2017 and have never looked back.
Proverb often shares sweet posts about Liesl, calling her his queen.
Liesl is equally smitten and has also gushed about him on her profile.
Could 2018 be the year these two get engaged?
