Kanye West settles out of court after ‘N-word’ assault

Musician Kanye West has settled out of court with an 18-year-old teen he allegedly attacked for calling his fiancé a 'N*****-lover'.

The rapper allegedly attacked the teen who hauled racial slurs at his fiancé Kim Kardashian outside the chiropractor’s office in California, TMZ reported.

The Beverly Hills teen has agreed to a $250 000 (R2 767 175) civil settlement and said he won’t go forward with a criminal prosecution.

A law enforcement insider told the celebrity news site that the District Attorney has not taken a decision on whether to charge the musician with battery.

TMZ tried to contact the hip hop artist’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, but he could not be reached for a comment.
