Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela is famous for giving cryptic answers to questions in interviews after matches.
Last year after being asked whether he was relieved to have finally had a win after a string of draws, the coach launched into what could almost be described as a form of free-verse poetry about “emotional intelligence” being “something we have to carry because the difference between chalk and cheese, much as they’re white, is huge”. He also spoke about “going under the roof”.
