Ndlanya urges Chiefs to sign ‘quality’ players

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Pollen Ndlanya has identified signing players as the root of Amakhosi and Orlando Pirates’ poor season.

The former goal poacher has taken the heat off the embattled Steve Komphela, saying management needs to work harder to recruit the best playing personnel for Amakhosi to compete.

“I think for Chiefs, they are in this situation because of wrong buying, hence they are offloading players right now.

“Some players didn’t get game time, but they need to go back and look at players they can sign – quality players.

“Phakamani Mahlambi is a player of Chiefs’ standard, Sibusiso Vilakazi is a players that Chiefs should have fought for.

“So they need to get the cheque book and spend on quality players. You need to spend money to make money,” Ndlanya concluded.
