Terry Pheto to represent SA at the Emmys

Pheto will represent South Africa at the International Emmy's in New York as a juror.


The prestigious ceremony will take place from the 21st until 23rd of November 2015.

The NFVF is recognised as the official representation of South African film industry, therefore it was afforded the status to host judging sessions. Terry Pheto was selected as a juror after a handful of industry members’ profiles were submitted and then confirmed by the International Emmys based on the criteria of having made big strides in her career, as well as having made an impact and contribution to the South African Film and Television Industry.

“I am honored to be a part of the juror panel for the International Emmys and am grateful to the NFVF for this opportunity to represent my country in the arts”  Pheto says in a statement.

Pheto’s film, Ayanda is currently been screened in the U.S. in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Alanta, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Houston, Detroit, Montgomery, Seattle, Calabash, Greensboro and Boston.
