Ed Sheeran is off the market
The hit singer married his girlfriend in an intimate ceremony just before Christmas.
Without the fanfare we are used to from celebrities, Ed Sheeran, 28, tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn, 26, with just 40 close friends and family in attendance.
The couple, who met at school, but only started dating in 2015, were married “just a few days before Christmas”, according to a close family friend.
The source quoted in the UK’s Daily Mail said: “It was very quiet – just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family, and the priest.
“There were only 40 people – so no Taylor Swift, record company executives or any royals or pop star pals. He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them – just a tiny winter wedding.”
Rumours persist that the couple will also be doing a huge British summer wedding for all their celebrity friends, who sources say are still totally unaware of the fact that the couple has already been married.
