Listen to this lit Women’s Month playlist

On 9th August 1956, Lilian Ngoyi, Helen Joseph, Albertina Sisulu and Sophia Williams-De Bruyn led a 20 000 strong women’s march to the Union Buildings to protest against the pass laws in South Africa.

On that day, the song “Wathint’ Abafazi Wathint’ imbokodo!” (Now you have touched the women, you have struck a rock) was composed to mark the historic moment. In honour of all of those women, some of the ladies at the Bona office have decided to share the songs they feel inspire, uplift and empower them as women; sung by women from across the globe.
What songs would be on your women’s month playlist?
