Maftown Heights announces DJ Sabby and Moozlie as their 2016 MCs

The dynamic duo are charged with directing proceedings on SA hip-hop's night to shine.

Maftown Heights, spiced up by KFC, have just revealed their MCs for their 7th annual festival. YFM’s DJ Sabby will take centre stage alongside Vuzu and Channel O’s Moozlie on Friday 25, November, 2016, at Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown, to an expected crowd of more than 10 000 people.

The role of the Maftown Heights’ MCs has always been an important one. They are the glue that binds, as they play the role of keeping the audience entertained, informed and engaged throughout the course of the event proceedings.

It is very fitting to have the dynamic and large personalities of YFM’s newest afternoon drive time host, DJ Sabby and self-proclaimed new age Brenda Fassie Moozlie controlling proceedings of SA hip-hop’s premier annual festival.

“Channel O and YFM have been Maftown Heights media partners since inception. Without fail, our media partners’ on-air talent have done an impeccable job as the event MC’s! This year will be no exception as we welcome SA’s premier drive time radio show host, DJ Sabby, and one of the hottest on-screen presenters, Moozlie, on to our stage as the dynamic duo are charged with directing proceedings on SA hip-hop’s night to shine!” expresses Refiloe Ramogase, Maftown Heights co-founder and organiser.
