Gospel festival at Germiston Lake
Gospel lovers bear the rain at Ekurhuleni's inaugural International Gospel Festival.
The metro held the much awaited inaugural International Gospel Festival, recently.
As Sunday December 8 was declared a National Day of Prayer, the festival certainly lifted the somber mood as the nation mourned the passing of world icon Nelson Mandela.
Gospel lovers showed their unconditional love for gospel music, as they beat the odds of the cloudy and rainy weather.
They danced and sang along to their favourite gospel tunes in praise and worship under umbrellas, picnic blankets and upside-down camp chairs.
Although this is a sad time for millions of South Africans and the world at large, the metro’s International Gospel Festival was held in celebration of a life well lived.
