Chatrenia Conradie wants to help her granny.
But she does not have the funds to do so.
Her grandparents, Koekie and Louis Bates, are residents of Kruinhof Retirement Village in Elandsfontein and live off a state pension.
Koekie is 76 years old and has osteoporosis, as well as a heart condition.
“Due to her problems she cannot walk very far and I am in desperate need of a wheelchair or shoprider for her,” Chatrenia said.
“They can’t afford to buy a wheelchair, so I am appealing to local businesses or community members for assistance.
“The wheelchair will make a huge difference in my grandmother’s life.”
