The visits formed part of their Women’s Day celebration.
The CPYD members spent their day handing out safety tips to the women in each settlement, with the focus on domestic violence and rape.
They also handed out toys and sweets to the children in each informal settlement.
“The sweets and toys handed out to the children were generously donated by the Avril Elizabeth Home and Chubby Chums,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“The management of the Primrose Police Station thank the members of the Crime Prevention Youth Desk for donating their time and energy to fighting crime in our area.
“Together we can make Primrose a safer place to be.”
