October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the country goes pink.
The month aims to educate the community about the disease that affects so many women world-wide.
It also offers companies, schools and individuals a chance to raise-funds and show their support for organisations such as Cansa.
Mamba Security, in Fishers’ Hill, is one such company.
The team will be selling pink ribbons to the community and businesses and is encouraging everyone to get involved in this worthy cause.
All the funds raised will be donated to Cansa.
For more information, contact Edith Vorster or Elaine Griffin on 084 261 2372, or visit the Mamba offices, at the Mustang Diner, 25 Main Road, Fishers’ Hill.
