Wishes come true for baby home

El-Shammah Home for Abandoned Babies and Place of Safety receives a helping hand from Dynamic Plastics.

The organisation was visited by Yvonne McKenna and Ingrid Winsper from Malvern East-based Dynamic Plastics who brought a number of much-needed items to the home.

“Each year Dynamic Plastics donates R20 000 to a worthy charity,” explained Yvonne.

“However, we do not give the charity the money. Instead, we visit them and find out what they need and then pick a few items from their wish list that we can help with.

“Previously we have supported Hawk Academy and Lambano Sanctuary.”

The team donated a lawnmower, weed eater, laptop, cellphone, two-way radio, tins of formula and nappies to the home.

“We are just so grateful for these donations,” said Merencia.

“They will really help us and our babies.”
