Golfers praised for winning Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf tournament

They scored 46 points to win their second tournament in a row.

Martie Becker and Charmaine Stone won their second successive Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf tournament when they claimed this month’s honours at ERPM Golf Club in early April.

Becker and Stone scored 46 points for first place while Tish Driver Toula Arnold ended on 42 points to claim the runner-up spot.

Debbie McCollough and Louine Hastings rounded off podium on 42 points counted out.

The tournament was attended by 85 players, the ESWG’s biggest field to date.

The organisation also hosted its AGM where a new committee was elected.

Stone retained her position as president while Becker, Terry Bailey, Cathy Ablett, Rene Mathee, Lynda Smit, Carol Allers and Tania du Preez make up the rest of the executive.
