Are you a bookworm?

A group of young ladies from around Johannesburg, who describe themselves as “bookworms” and call themselves Chapters Between Friends, invite residents around Kathorus to donate old books to help needy schools to promote literacy and improve education standards in the area.

“We appeal to anyone with books they no longer need to donate them to our crusade to collect books for learners from grades One to Seven in a bid to encourage young learners and cultivate a culture of reading among learners in these grades,” said the Chapters Between Friends.

The books to donate should be for children and in any vernacular language.
