Dogs just won’t stop barking

Please stop the incessant barking.

“Stop the incessant yapping”, published in the GCN on July 5, by Denis Nasis, struck a nerve and I am unhappy to report the battle and bitterness continues in our street.

The dogs are still being kept in the front yards of homes, often for the whole day and night, even in the cold winter months.

The dogs bark excessively and it seems nothing can be done about it, as any complaints seem to be ignored.

The dogs are kept as a security aid but, due to the excessive barking, people no longer check why they are barking and this has led to a rise in the number of cars being broken into.

I feel the owners of these animals have no conscience, as they leave them alone for long periods of time, in a small area, with little to no stimulation, and this seems to leave only one form of entertainment – barking.
