Boksburg’s Thomas “Tommy Gun” Oosthuizen made a successful comeback to the ring on last Saturday evening beating Thabiso “The Rock” Mchunu to claim the ABU cruiserweight title in the headline bout of the “Call to Glory” Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace. Oosthuizen, pictured here after his points’ victory against Mchunu, with Emperors Palace complex operations executive Clive Tavener now has his sights set on fighting IBO cruiserweight world champion, Kevin “Two Guns” Lerena. Hot new boxing prospect Keaton Gomes gave a powerful performance on the undercard of the “Call to Glory” Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace, last Saturday, demolishing Tshilidzi Mulaudzi in the first round of their four-round cruiserweight clash.
