“We had to adapt our playing strategies because our opponents were closing in,” Ralushe said.

The match featured goals from Viwe Tom, Lindokuhle ‘Skopo’ Vilakazi, and A. Manyayisa, giving the team its first win of the season.

“This win has boosted our confidence as we aim to maintain our league position,” Ralushe added.

Reflecting on the team’s earlier setback, Ralushe noted their first league match at home was marked as a walkover because of technicalities.

The team also suffered a 1-0 loss in the Nedbank Cup qualifiers, which served as a learning experience.

Looking ahead, Zizi FC plans to strengthen the squad and further improve their performance in the league by adding experienced players next year.
