Two suspects involved in the killing of two detectives of Dobsonville, Soweto yesterday, were killed in a shootout with police on the N3 just before the De Hoek toll plaza.
Police followed up on information and spotted the suspects driving in a red Volkswagen Golf and a White Hyundai. When they neared the toll plaza, the suspects spotted the police and started shooting.
The police returned fire, killing two suspects.
