Bakkie plows through apartment wall in Ermelo
Residents were awakened by a bakkie crashing through the wall of their apartment.
A vehicle accident occurred late Thursday night in De Clercq Street.
The details surrounding the accident are still unclear.
The driver of a Ford bakkie had allegedly lost control of the vehicle, hit a pole, went over the median, hit a tree, and went through an apartment block’s wall.
The driver of the bakkie sustained no injuries, while the female passenger was transported by ER24 to Ermelo Hospital for a broken femur.
