Mediclinic Ermelo hosts awareness event to fight breast cancer

Mediclinic Ermelo has placed a bra collection box at the main reception area and encourages the community to donate bras.

ERMELO – Mediclinic Ermelo hosted a breast cancer awareness event on October 24, dedicated to educating the community and promoting early detection in the fight against the disease.

Herculene Arnoldi, nursing manager, and Events Fakude, patient admin manager, assisted by the management team organised the event.

Attendees benefitted from presentations by hospital experts, including Sr Marietjie Hattingh, who provided insightful information on safety and preventative measures. Dr Mamongali Belina Mokone shared her expertise, focusing on the medical aspects of diagnosis and treatment.

The event also included a heartfelt message by Neli Masina, hospital financial clerk, adding a personal and emotional touch to the awareness drive.
