Grader and bakkie involved in yet another accident on Piet Retief Road
An accident has occurred on the N2 Piet Retief Road involving a grader and a bakkie. A passenger in the bakkie has been admitted to hospital.
Following yesterday’s fatal crash near Camden Power Station on the N2 Piet Retief Road, another accident occurred on the same road outside Ermelo earlier today involving a grader and a bakkie.
Preliminary reports indicate there were two occupants in the bakkie—a driver and a passenger.
The passenger has been admitted to hospital, although the extent of his injuries is currently unknown.
The driver sustained only minor injuries and is currently still on the scene.

Local authorities, including the police, along with Shesha Towing Services and Van Wettens Towing Services, are on site.
While the road is slightly obstructed, traffic is still moving.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area.
