Car collides with Checkers Sixty60 bike at Burger and Kerk Street, Ermelo

Emergency services responded to a collision between a car and a Checkers Sixty60 motorcycle at the intersection of Burger and Kerk Streets in Ermelo earlier this evening.

According to available information, Midfire EMS, Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services, and the local SAPS attended the scene.

When Highvelder arrived, the motorcycle was propped up against a fence and only police were still present.

Traffic has not been affected while authorities cleared the area. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

The driver of the motorcycle is said to have sustained injuries and was transported to hospital.

The extent of his injuries is not known at this stage.
