Best of Ermelo: Voting surges beyond 13 000 in seven days

Thousands of residents are backing their favourites as voting momentum builds across multiple categories in the Best of Ermelo.

Voting momentum for the Best of Ermelo Readers’ Choice Awards 2025 continues to build, with an impressive 13 071 votes recorded between April 20 and 27.

The strong response reflects the community’s enthusiasm in recognising businesses and individuals delivering quality service across Ermelo and the greater Msukaligwa area.

As a fully community-driven initiative, both nominations and winners are determined entirely by public votes.

Voting remains open until midnight on May 18, with participants allowed one vote per subcategory per device.

Strict measures are in place to ensure fairness, including verification requirements and the removal of suspicious voting activity.

The competition is conducted entirely online, and any discrepancies or violations may result in disqualification.
