A deep pothole, possibly a sinkhole, has developed at the T-junction connecting Gelderland Road, Feniks Avenue and Witteveen Avenue near Netherland Park Secondary School.

The school has warned that the road is heavily used by pedestrians, transport drivers and parents approaching from the Merino Mall and Morgan Nissan area.

According to the school, this road defect poses a safety risk to both commuters and vehicles.

Road users are urged to exercise caution and consider alternative routes until the hazard is addressed.
