ERMELO – A person has died after a vehicle crashed into a tree in Camden Avenue at about 13:45, prompting the closure of a section of the road while emergency and forensic teams investigate the scene.
The fatal accident involved a single vehicle. Emergency services, including ER24, towing services, police and Msukaligwa Fire & Rescue responded to the incident.
Camden Avenue has been closed between the General Botha and De Bruin Street crossings to allow authorities to conduct their investigation.
Motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes and expect delays in the area.
