Bakkie overturns, spilling empty beer bottles across Ermelo-Morgenzon road
The damaged Toyota came to rest off the roadway while its trailer’s load was left scattered across the route.
A Toyota bakkie towing a trailer loaded with empty beer bottles overturned about 30km from Ermelo on the Ermelo-Morgenzon road, scattering bottles, broken glass and crates across the roadway.
The sole occupant of the bakkie sustained minor injuries, with no casualties reported.

Its load of empty beer bottles and crates was scattered over a large section of the road, with broken glass covering the surface.
Lekwa Local Municipality fire services attended to the injured driver at the scene.
Van Wettens, Ermelo Towing Services, local traffic officials and Lekwa Local Municipality fire services were on the scene.
Responders worked among the scattered crates and bottles as clean-up operations got under way to clear the roadway.
