Nine-hour power interruption planned for Ermelo
A nine-hour electricity interruption is scheduled for Ermelo Extensions 32, 33 and 34 to allow for essential electrical installation and testing work.
ERMELO – Residents in Ermelo Extensions 32, 33 and 34 are advised to prepare for a planned nine-hour power interruption on Thursday, October 1.
According to Muskaligwa Local Municipality, the interruption will take place from 08:00 to 17:00 to allow for the installation of a new vandal-proof concrete kiosk.
The planned work will include installation, reconfiguration and testing of the primary 11kV plant at Extension 34 substation.
The municipality has urged residents to take note that all electrical points and installations should be treated as live during the power interruption.
