Jive Pros Dance Studio in Ermelo hosts Medal Match Dance competition at the Ermelo Civic Centre
During the event both studios competing in various forms of dance styles
Jive Pros Dance Studio hosted their annual medal match dance competition recently at the Ermelo Civic Centre.
The studio consists of two dance studios, one based in Johannesburg and one in Ermelo, and Ermelo was the host town for the event this year.
Both studios competed in various forms of dance styles, including house, hip hop (street), international Latin and ballroom, Latin club styles, swing dances and American smooth dances.

First place trophy winners for their sections are:
Jaydeen Koen (house), JP Moss (hip hop male novice), Lulu Ncgogwane (hip hop women’s novice), Nikhita Cairns (hip hop amateur), Rudolp-Willem Byleveld (hip hop amateur), Morgan Samuel (showcase), Ella Samuel (Latin: bronze), Promise Hlubi (Kizomba), Bianca Janse van Rensburg (Ballroom: bronze), Edward Samuel and Lucy Fernandes (Latin: bronze), Bianca Janse van Rensburg and Nikhita Cairns (hip hop duo amateur) and JP Moss and Lulu Ncgogwane (hip hop duo novice).
Second place trophy winners in their respective sections are:
Cassey Bennett (house), Lunga Ncgogwane (hip hop male novice), Zethembe Shongwe (hip hop amateur), Bianca Janse van Rensburg (hip hop amateur), Susi Lisa (showcase), Prelene Singh (Kizomba), Lucy Fernandes (ballroom bronze) and Londeka Shongwe and Zethembe Shongwe (hip hop duo amateur).
Third place trophy winners in their sections are:
Londeka Shongwe (hip hop amateur), Prelene Singh (showcase), Alysha Singh (Kizomba), Danyelle Blackbeard (ballroom bronze) and Jaydeen Koen and Rudolp-Willem Byleveld (hip hop duo amateur).
The judges were Edwina Roxburg and Kallie Adams who also performed international Latin dances for those present.
