VOC United continued their winning run, defeating Ermelo United 1-0 in the Ermelo Derby.
Ermelo United are yet to register points in the last five games and languish at the bottom of the table.
Mafia FC handed neighbours, Breyten United, an embarrassing defeat, putting five goals past the Breyten goalkeeper in what was a goal-fest.
The Breyten side could not respond to an impressive Mafia outfit and that match ended on 5-1.
Log leaders Manzana FC put three goals past newcomers, Mpumalanga Eagles FC, who could not take advantage of their home ground. The match ended 3-0.
The Sun City Gunners succumbed to another loss after losing 3-1 to XI Experience.
In other matches, Typhoon beat Shooters FC 4-2 and the Hammers FC thrashed PR Barcelona 4-0. Breyten Homesweepers dropped two points as they drew their match against defending champions, Somhlolo FC.
Passion FC shared the spoils with Flymingo United as each team had a goal a piece.
After the weekend, Manzana FC widened the gap between the top two to five points.
The team from Badplaas are on 25 points and Flymingo United are in second place on 20 points.
Breyten Homesweepers FC are in third place on 19 points and VOC United have the Breyten team in their sights as they follow them closely on 19 points as well.
Mafia FC are in 8th position on 12 points while the Mpumalanga Eagles have slipped down to 15th position with eight points.
The Sun City Gunners are in 17th position on three points and Ermelo United languish at the bottom with two points.
The next round of matches will take place over the weekend of 1 December as the SAB Soccer League reaches its midway mark.
