Manzana Football Club stretch lead to eight points in SAB Soccer Gert Sibande Stream B League
After the weekend, Manzana FC still top the leader board on 48 points while Ermelo United are at the bottom on 10 points.
The latest edition of the SAB Soccer Gert Sibande Stream B League took place at various stadiums around the Gert Sibande District this past weekend of 23 February.
Other teams had to play catch-up with local outfit, Mafia Stars FC, participating in two games on Saturday and Sunday.
In their first match, the boys from Wesselton outplayed a PR Barcelona side, winning the match 3-1.
However, they lost their second match 3-0 to Breyten Homesweepers on Sunday.
VOC United got over their slump by beating Sun City Gunners FC 4-1 and Ermelo United lost 2-4 against Breyten United.
In other matches, Manzana managed a 1-0 scrappy win over Typhoon, PR Barcelona won 3-2 against Passion and Flymingo United drew 1-1 with Shooters FC.
Defending champions Somhlolo FC also drew their match against Blackstone, and the Hammers FC hammered the Lostar Stars 2-0.
The Mpumalanga Eagles FC team seem to be settling in their new home in Davel and registered another win by defeating XI Experience with 2-0.
