EXCLUSIVE ONLINE: Kralinbergh parkrun hosts its 31st event
A total of 10 athletes took to the event as first timers while 14 achieved new personal bests.
A total of 52 athletes participated in the Kralinbergh Parkrun at the Kralinbergh Guest House on the Chrissiesmeer Road on 8 June.
A total of 10 athletes took part in the parkrun for the first time, while 14 achieved new personal bests.
Volunteers who made the event possible, were Ms Janine Cirigliano, Ms Wendy Damons, Mr Brendan Damons, Ms Alida M de Jager, Ms Estelle Fourie, Ms Edna Maharaj, Mr Lakesh Maharaj, Ms Ansune Neethling, Ms Erika Nel, Ms Mandri Olivier, Ms Adele Smit, Ms Annise Smit, Mr Raees Tikly, Mr Cornelius Frederik van der Nest and Mr Gerald Young.
The organisers invite all residents of Ermelo to participate as this scenic 5km route, either by walking or jogging.
The Kralinbergh Parkrun takes place every Saturday and is free for the public to join.
Athletes need to register before they take part in the event, in order to obtain a barcode.
Participants need to take the printed copy of their barcode as their time will not be registered if they do not have their barcode with them.
