Soccer players kick off at AJ Swanepoel Stadium
Citizen F.C. beat Wesselton Stars 3-1 during the finals.
Soccer teams kicked off the Kamgabadeli U/17 tournament at AJ Swanepoel Stadium on 13 October.
A total of seven of the eight teams that participate, represented Msukaligwa and one team represented Mkondo.
Citizen Football Club F.C., Mpumalanga United, Breyten Stars, United Football Club, Wesselton Stars, PSG Football Club, Astonvilla Football Club and Remember Football Club were the teams that participated.
The first matches were contested between Astonvilla F.C. and Breyten Stars, as well as Mpumalanga United against Remember F.C.
During the semi-finals Wesselton Stars won 1-0 against Breyten Stars and Citizen F.C. beat Mpumalanga United by 2-0.
The third place play-offs between Mpumalanga United and Breyten Stars ended in a draw of two goals each.
Mpumalanga United won 8-7 with penalties.
